Who are we?
Welch Machine Inc. was the manufacturer of the landing gear for Commander Aircraft Company in Bethany Oklahoma from 1992 through 2000. Today we manufacture replacement parts as needed and supply the Commander owners with parts and assemblies from inventory. All parts are made from the original drawings, we comply with all material, heat treat and finish processing specifications as called out by the drawing just as we did during the production process. We can supply a certificate of conformity with all shipments and we will soon have a PMA on the parts we manufacture from solid plate stock.

Torque Tube PN# 45291-1 Assembly
We manufacture this part from aircraft quality aluminum plate, Install the P227-6, P227-26 and line bore them per print. Then we install the AA-401-3 bushings and the grease fitting. This part is much stronger than the original magnesium casting.
755004 Rockwell-Commander 112 / 114 Drag Brace Assembly
This part is also manufactured from solid aircraft quality aluminum plate. We install the P242-7 bushing and line ream them to final print deminsion. We also include the F375E x .36 and the AA-301-9 bushings in the assembly.
This part is ready to paint and install without any additional requirements. This part is signifcantly more durable than the original casting.

PN# P227-2 Upper Trunnion
Manufactured from solid aircraft quality aluminum plate this part will withstand much greater stress than the original magnesium casting. We install the P227-22 Stop Pin and the AA-301-9 bushing prior to shipping.
PN# W110-36 Brake Cylinders
Welch Machine was the only source for the W110-36 Brake Cylinders used on the 114B while they were in production from 1992 approximately 2002. We have several in stock at all times.
PN# W-115-4 Dump Valve
We were also the source for the W-115-4 Dump Valve during the years Commander 114B was in production.
Part Number P254-5 and -11 (right and left hand) Manufactured from solid aircraft quality aluminum plate and this part will withstand much greater stress than the original casting.
